Google comes up with the new version of Gmail for Android users. Gmail 7.2 version allows users to easily create tasks, and also give the authorization to edit them in their Exchange accounts. Google has announced to increase the size limit for sending and receiving attachments in Gmail up to 50 MB. They had added support for exchange accounts in their Gmail app for Android. Additional improvements in Gmail give users to take benefits of both their work and personal email accounts. Many shortcut features are added in the latest version. You can easily compose a message directly by long pressing on the app icon. The new shortcuts are also available in the newest version, the user can easily switch accounts or pin a shortcut.

Earlier in the older version, there is only shortcut for composing a new message, but in its upgraded version, more shortcuts are available. Now, shortcuts are available for up to three email accounts. You can easily drag shortcuts to your Home screen. These new shortcuts help users to easily gain access to different email accounts. The order of the accounts is determined by the activity of the last three accounts in the application. You just need to remove Gmail accounts from Android phone and uninstall the Gmail app from the smartphone device for re-installing the latest version to get the new updates on regular basis.

One more feature is added to the new version of the Gmail. They have added support for Exchange tasks in the newer version of Gmail app. As the name determine, the latest feature allows the user to synchronize their task with the exchange. This feature allows you to create a new task or edit your task and you can also set priority to your task which you have to do first.

There is no change in the design in the latest version of the app. So, if you have used older Gmail version, then you’ll not find any difference after addition of the new Exchange task feature in the newest version of the Gmail. This new feature allows users to focus on their important task. This feature is shortly available to all the Gmail users for Android users. The long press feature is soon available for Android device also. This is very useful in composing emails instantly.

If you use multiple accounts, then this new feature is very helpful for you to manage multiple Gmail accounts. Your all Gmail accounts are displayed there, from where you can easily select one that you wish to log in. You can also create a shortcut for any specific account on your Home screen. We advise Android users to update their Gmail application from the App store to take the advantage of the new features.
